We wondered if the craze to go completely wireless would ever peak, and now we think we’ve hit an indicator. If head or earphones aren’t your cup of tea, then maybe you’d take an interest in these Bluetooth beanies. Yes, you heard that correctly.
Why haven’t you heard of this ingenious invention? It’s only because the buzz hasn’t caught up with it yet. Sooner or later, you’ll see them plastered across most online retail stores with skyrocketing prices. Here’s your chance to nab one before the mad rush.
One great perk about these beanies is that they are all on the cheaper side. Before washing the beanies, remove the speakers from each side. The speakers are not machine washable!
The beanie by Ytonet does everything a set of wireless headphones does-plays music and can accept/decline calls at will. On a single charge, you can get up to four hours of music and call time.
Its made of acrylic and polyester materials, so it can go through the wash and still retain its color.
Pococina has a couple of different beanie styles and colors with the price range remaining relatively small between them. You can connect them to any smart device that has Bluetooth compatibility.
On a single charge, you can get up to six hours of playtime (music/calls).
The Warlxun beanies features a pom on top of the hat and a folded bottom for extra warmth around the ears. Not only will you be able to play your favorite tunes, but you’ll stand out from the rest of the Bluetooth beanie crowd.
When this beanie is connected to your smart device, it will tell you how much power it has left on its charge.
The Usitek beanie has another intricate design and is elongated near the top, allowing it to fit many sizes and hairstyles. On a single charge, you can get anywhere from six to eight hours of playtime depending on call length and volume level.
With a similar design to the Warlxun beanie, the Tenergy beanie is thicker around the ears and has a noticeable pom on top. With this thicker padding, it’s safe to take it out in colder conditions, even while snowboarding or skiing.
On a single charge, you’ll get up to six hours of playtime.
CoCo Fashion has a number of different styles and designs for around the same price. Like the Usitek beanie, its thinner around the speakers to allow for more space in the back.
On a single charge of two hours, you’ll get between four and five hours of playtime.
Blue Ear also has many different colors and designs, but they might not all have the same level of padding. The beanie on the right however still has a neat design but its small and might not be suited for those with long hair.
On a single charge, you can get up to eight hours of playtime.
The biggest question you probably have is will these beanies keep your ears warm while still being able to blast concert level tunes? The answer is going to be a little shaky depending on the level of padding in the beanie and what material is used.
Like we mentioned earlier, they are all washable but remember to take the speakers out first. The speakers are usually charged by a USB cable that comes with the beanie itself. Some beanies may only allow volume and accept/decline call functions, while others allow you to skip tracks or find the ones you want to hear.
What we can tell you is that they’ll be more convenient than a large pair of headphones. Beanies are designed work in the snow and cold weather, so don’t try to risk your expensive pair of headphones if you have them.
